Great cast to play the leading roles!!!
Summary:
Amar Akbar Anthony marks the directorial debut of Nadir Shah, and he has done his part in making the audience laugh and in keeping the movie entertaining.
This movie brings together a great cast in Prithviraj as Amar, Jayasurya as Akbar and Indrajith as Anthony. Three of the brightest stars in Malayalam today. The movie also has Namitha Pramod, but not in an all that significant character.
Most of the movie is based on the interaction/chemistry between the three leads and is very entertaining. There are hints on the real meat of the story throughout, but really unfolds only towards the very end. The villain character played by Shafique Rahiman, whose character does not even have a single dialog, was excellent.
