Malayalam Movie Review - North 24 Kaatham (Rating 3.5/5 Star)

One of the hits of 2014 !!!

Summary:

North 24 Kaatham is a simple yet enjoyable film.  Directed and Written by Anil Radhakrishan Menon, the movie is well executed in taking the audience on the journey of three strangers through Kerala on a Hartal Day.  

The main Character "Hari" played by Fahadh Faasil is an IT professional who seems to be a germaphobe as well as have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.  This aspect of the character brings some humor into many of the scenes.  As I have mentioned before on MFB, Fahad Faasil is certainly one of the best in Malayalam Film right now and he proves it once again with North 24 Kaatham. 

The veteran Nedumudi Venu is the glue that holds the film together.  Swati Reddy, Female Lead from Amen, rounds out to group to give the audience a memorable trip. 

For the curious Mind, "Kaatham" in Malayalam, is a unit of distance that amount to 16 kilometers.
